Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh
Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh is a Michigan native with a record on and off the bench on protecting and fighting for all Michiganders. She was first elected to the Michigan Supreme Court in 2018. Before joining the bench, Justice Cavanagh practiced appellate law in Detroit. On the bench, Justice Cavanagh has championed a justice system that is accessible, transparent, and centered on people. She has been a critical advocate and stalwart for protecting us, uplifting working families, and preserving our rights and freedoms.
Justice Noah Hood
Justice Noah Hood is a lifelong Detroiter and public servant who is committed to providing equal justice for all and ensuring our legal system works for all. Prior to being appointed to the Michigan Supreme Court last year, Justice Hood on the Michigan Court of Appeals. Today, Justice Hood continues his service on Michigan’s highest court, bringing deep respect for the law, a commitment to thoughtful judicial decision-making and a lifelong dedication to the people of Michigan.
